What does crawlseo do?
It reads your Search Console data, checks your site, and asks ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini the questions your customers ask. You see where your site is named, which sources the assistants cite, and how that changes week to week.
Who is it for?
Founders and small teams who want to see how their site shows up in search and in AI answers without becoming SEO specialists.
Is this the same answer people get in the ChatGPT app?
Not exactly. We use the official APIs with web search turned on. The apps add memory and personal context, so individual answers vary. Running each question three times, every week, shows the typical answer rather than one person’s.
How often do the numbers update?
Once a week. Each question runs three times on each engine every week, and the charts update when the run finishes.
Which assistants do you track?
ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini, through their official APIs with web search on.
Do you track Google AI Overviews?
Not yet. It is planned. Right now we track ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
Where do the questions come from?
We suggest them from your site and your Search Console queries, and you can edit them. You never start from an empty list.
Why is Search Console required?
It confirms the site is yours, and its queries are the starting point for your prompts.
Can you get my site into AI answers?
We can’t promise that. We show where the assistants look and whether the answers change after you make changes.
What is the difference between the open-source version and the cloud?
The open-source version is SEO monitoring you run on your own server, free under the MIT license. The cloud adds AI answer tracking, scheduled runs and history, and we run it for you.
Is there a free plan?
Self-hosting is free. Cloud plans are paid; prices are announced at launch.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your dashboard is locked when your plan ends. We keep your data for 60 days in case you come back, then delete it. There is no self-serve export; if you need a copy of your personal data under your legal rights, ask us through the contact page.
Do you sell or share my data?
No. We use your data only to run crawlseo for you. Details are in the privacy policy.
